The Wren Bike Blanket is made specifically for kids on longtail bikes, whether they are using monkey bars/hoopties/caboose/clubhouse or universally fit in a rear mounted child seat like a Yepp Maxi, Thule, Bobike or any other variety!

One of the biggest problems when putting kids on a rear longtail rack is how to keep them warm and dry. A blanket will soak through in the rain and the potential to fall off the bike onto the ground or the wheels. A raincoat usually doesn't offer much in terms of warmth, and getting your children into it can be difficult. An umbrella blows out of a child's hands at a very slow speed. The pads on the rear rack can be wet, leading to a complaint filled ride.

The Wren Bike Blanket addresses all of these issues. First off, The Wren Blanket is made with a high quality polyurethane coated ripstop nylon outer shell to combat the wind and the rain. It is insulated with an inner layer of polar fleece to keep your little one warm. It wraps around your child using an elastic strap with a buckle to clasp around their back to keep the blanket snug. The Wren has four velcro tie downs to secure it in place. When not in use, the Wren is able to be used as a cover for the rear rack. This creates two benefits - the rear seats stay dry and your blankets do not have to be stored after every ride!
